Cookie policy
Last updated: July 2, 2026
This policy explains how ERA Skills uses cookies and similar browser storage on eraskills.com and app.eraskills.com. Our approach is deliberately minimal: we use what is needed to sign you in and keep the site working, and nothing for advertising.
What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a site remember information between visits. Both are standard tools; what matters is what they are used for.
Essential cookies and storage we use
- Authentication. When a director, coach, or parent signs in, we store a session token so you stay signed in as you move around the application.
- Session state. We may store small preferences needed for the site to function, such as which team or view you last had open.
These are strictly necessary: without them, sign-in and the application simply would not work.
Analytics
Privacy-respecting usage analytics may be used to understand, in aggregate, how the marketing site and application are used — for example, which pages are visited. We do not use analytics to build profiles of individual users or athletes.
What we do not use
- No advertising or ad-targeting cookies.
- No cross-site tracking.
- No selling of any data collected through cookies or storage.
Controlling cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block cookies entirely, clear them, or block them for specific sites. Look under "Privacy" or "Cookies and site data" in your browser's settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to the application.
