Acceptable use policy

Last updated: July 2, 2026

ERA Skills exists to help young athletes build character, so how the platform is used matters as much as what it does. This policy applies to everyone who uses the service — directors, coaches, athletes, and parents — and is part of our Terms of Service.

Be respectful — no harassment or bullying

Peer ratings and comments are a coaching tool, not a place to tear teammates down. Comments must be respectful and constructive. Harassment, bullying, insults, threats, and discriminatory remarks are prohibited. Coaches review all peer ratings and comments and may address anything that crosses the line; repeated or serious misconduct can lead to removal from the platform.

Respect other users' data

Access on the platform is role-based for a reason: players see only their own scores, and parents see only their own child's. Do not attempt to view, obtain, or share data your role does not permit you to see — including sharing sign-in credentials or parent PINs, guessing or circumventing access controls, or probing the service for weaknesses.

No scraping or automated collection

Do not scrape, crawl, or bulk-collect content or data from the service, whether by script, bot, or any other automated means.

No reverse engineering

Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the platform, and do not copy or redistribute the curriculum or training materials outside your club's authorized use.

No unlawful content or use

Do not use the service to store or share content that is unlawful, or to violate anyone else's rights. Do not upload malicious code or take any action intended to disrupt the service.

Consequences

Violations of this policy may result in content removal, suspension of an account, or termination of access — for an individual user or, in serious cases, an organization. Where a violation involves the safety of a minor, we may also notify the club's administrators.

Reporting

If you see behavior on the platform that concerns you — a hurtful comment, a suspected account compromise, or anything else — report it to your coach or club administrator, or email us directly at dane.berman@eraskills.com. We take reports involving young athletes seriously and will respond promptly.
